Baroque violin Solo

This piece was written especially for the expressive capabilities of the baroque violin specialist Carla Moore, who introduced me to the fantastic music composed for the violin in 17th century Italy. Though the technique recalls the 17th century, the harmonic and melodic materials create a wistful image of a pastoral American landscape.
